Kenneth L. Beckstrom

Born and raised on a farm near Oakland, Nebraska. Graduate of Oakland High School. Two years service in the United States Army. Farmed on a general livestock and grain farm for four years.

Received Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska in 1967. Main area of study was Agronomy with a business option. Received Master of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska in 1969. Main area of study was Agronomy.


Presently the owner and chief appraiser of AG One Appraisal Service. An appraisal firm specializing in rural properties such as farms and ranches. Employed as a farm appraiser for Farmers National Company from 1985 to 1996 with assignments in Idaho,Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, and South Dakota.

Provided appraisal training from 1985 through 2007. This includes the planning preparation, and presentation of basic and advanced appraisal classes. These classes were approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Appraiser Board for pre-license and continuing education.

Employed as a farm manager for Farmers National Company from 1975 to 1985 in the Council Bluffs, Iowa area. Responsibilities included the management, sales, and appraisal of farms in Harrison, Mills, Monona and Pottawattamie Counties, Iowa.

Appraisal clients have included individuals, banks, attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, public utilities, and governmental agencies.
